CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
Clubs, extracurriculars, fraternities and sororities. Whether you're trying to work your way up the social ladder or trying to add another line to your resume, this is the place to begin your search. Most clubs will accept members of all ages, so staff and faculty are encouraged to join as well. If there is a club or team you are interested in that isn't listed here, let a mod know and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Anyone who is part of a fraternity/sorority have to include a 'nickname' for their character in their application. Nicknames should fit the themes of each specific fraternity/sorority. Generally these are for undergraduate students only, but a few (extra awesome) graduate students can skate in once in a while. sigma phi epsilon; ΣΦΕ (fraternity) Theme: Greco-Roman Mythology (Examples: Icarus, Adonis) The "Old Boys' Club" of Ainsworth. Made up of young men from the most influential families. Membership in this fraternity puts you instantly into a network of the most important and wealthy men of not only the States, but also the world. This frat also holds a reputation for wild parties and having a lot of fun, though not every member is a party animal. President: Rush Chair: Treasurer: Members: Previous Members: omega tau; ΩΤ (co-ed) Theme: Famous Authors (Examples: Hemingway, Machiavelli) The honors and community service fraternity. This fraternity takes both females and males with excellent academia records. It is a gathering of intellects from all different fields. Ainsworth's smartest are all accepted here. President: Rush Chair: Treasurer: Members: beta kappa upsilon; ΒΚΥ (sorority) Theme: Casino/gamble Lingo (Examples: Baccarat, Pachinko. Combination of separate words allowed) The so-called "sister sorority" to Sigma Phi Epsilon. This is where the most influential girls gather. Much like ΣΦΕ, being a member of this sorority puts you in an instant network of important people. President: Rush Chair: Treasurer: Members: delta psi nu; ΔΨΝ (sorority) Theme: Ornithology/Scientific name of birds (Examples: Tyto alba, Tangara chilensis) The 'artsy' sorority. This is where all the artists of Ainsworth gather, ranging from actors to painters to musicians to just those who have an appreciation for the arts. This began as a high-class sorority, but through the ages, a few quirkier ones have filtered through, and now it is a mixture of modern and classical artists.
