ADMISSIONS [APPLICATION]
Please fill out the application and email it to ainsworthu@gmail.com. We should get back to you in 2 to 4 days. If you don't receive a reply in 4 days, please let the mods know. It is possible your application got lost somewhere or was accidentally listed as spam. You do not need to have a character journal prepared to apply!
about you Name: If you don't feel comfortable giving your real name for whatever reason, give an alias. Sex: If you can't figure this one out, we can't help you Age: This will not be used against you and will be kept between you and the mods. We would prefer those who are older than 18 due to the content and nature of this game, but exceptional writers under the age of 18 can apply as well. Keep in mind that some things might get more dark and adult. Timezone: Pretty self explanatory. Here is a list if you can't figure out your own! Email: Your email, just in case someone needs to contact you. SN: Your AIM screen name, just for contact reasons. Not required, but would make getting in touch with you a lot easier. How did you find us? Purely for the mods to know what's working and what isn't. Writing Sample: Please provide us a sample of your writing/RP skills, either a journal, another RP you participate in, or just a few paragraphs you've written for this application! about your character Name: The full name of your character Sex: Self-explanatory Age: How old your character is Birthday: Completely irrelevant actually. Who knows – maybe when the day comes around, your posse can throw you a party or something. That would be fun to read. Family Residence: Where your character comes from and where he/she lives during the breaks. It can be anywhere in the world, as long as it is where they reside for most of their life while not in school. (Feel free to include other vacation houses that they may have.) PB: Please post or link an image of whomever it is that will act as an image and avatar for your character in the game and give their name so we can mark it down. Appearance: Describe what your character looks like. Height, weight, clothing, piercings and/or tattoos, and the way he/she carries him/herself are all good things to note. Occupation: What your character does for a living (Student is a valid answer.) If he/she is an undergraduate student, specify the year (senior, junior, sophomore or freshman.) Please note that since we are opening so close to the end of the school year, sign up for the grade you'd like to see your character in in the 2010-2011 school year! If he/she is a graduate student, specify his/her department and major. Part-time jobs should also be listed here. If none, state so. Campus Activities: What does your character do on campus other than their occupation? Take a look at this post for already-created organizations, clubs, sports, etc. If what you want isn't on there, feel free to create your own! Please include all positions and/or nicknames when applicable. If no position is indicated, your character will be listed as just a member. Housing: On-campus housing will be random for all Freshmen characters for an easier time getting to know other characters. Otherwise, you may choose your own room or allow the mods to randomly assign you. If your character is in a fraternity/sorority, they must be living in that house. Please specify if you would like your character to live on or off campus (we recommend on-campus!) If off-campus, please give a description of the house/apartment and the daily commute to school! Teachers will live off-campus, as will graduate students since there is no actual "graduate housing." However, those who have graduated from a fraternity or sorority house and was well-liked by their peers may choose to stay in their old frat/sorority houses. Strengths: Lists are just fine! Weaknesses: Lists are fine! Weird Quirks: Please take this time to list a few weird quirks your character has. Personality: Your character's attitudes, outlooks, etc. At very least one paragraph; feel free to make this as long as you want. History: Your character's past as long as some regular biographical information, like their family. Remember that this school is mainly for the rich and famous, so please plan accordingly! Also, if you already have an idea, please indicate how your character is involved on campus. Remember, because this character is your own original creation, nobody knows anything about them except you! So make sure not to leave anything important out. At the very least, two paragraphs; feel free to make this as long as you want Extra: Anything else you wish to say that the rest of the application did not cover: favorite foods, secrets, defining characteristics, pet peeves, etc. |
